Dana Rainey is the founder of LIFE Movement School, an institution dedicated to training students to move in the Spirit of LIFE (Love, Integrity, Freedom, Expression) and make an artistic mark
within the 7 mountains of influence.
She is the author of books Letters to A Dance Minister and Shabach: The Dance Ministers Call To Release A Prophetic Shout.
For 21 years Dana served as a dance ministry leader, teacher and choreographer for over 15 Christian organizations in the
U.S., Asia, Europe & Caribbean.
She danced professionally in musical theater productions and concert dance throughout the world.
Dana was featured in the Arts and Leisure section of the New York Times for her work in the Off-Broadway production of
Harlem Song (2003).
She choreographed for professional dance and gospel companies, musical theater productions, university and college institutions.
Dana is a curriculum writer and teacher for
theater education institutions.
She graduated from Drew University's Theological School with a Masters of Arts degree in Ministry.
She is a chaplain and called to spiritually and emotionally support communities throughout the world.
Dana is a christian. Her life's mission is located in the book of Isaiah 61:1 (Bible), "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor, he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound."
